Walter Waygood: Man of Mystery

As someone who has also photographed in the Valleys I couldn’t help but feel there was a certain mystique surrounding Walter Waygood. His name kept appearing, particularly in relation to Ffotogallery’s Valleys Project, yet he was nowhere to be found. When, after several decades, I finally met Walter one half of the mystery was quickly solved - for over twenty years he had exiled himself to work in the New Forest.
